Day Two

We were supposed to begin yesterday (day one) but the machine broke and the excavator was waiting on a part from the manufacturer. In the end, the excavator brought the smaller of the two machines.

"you're going to have to take your time, the soil is going to be really bony"

(that proved to be not true)

Later that day the 1000lb plate tamper broke, ending the day at 4pm.
