Lucky 13
I think today is day 13. We were lucky enought to get cookies from the sweet and kind lady who lives across the street. She owns a chihuahua named Chico. We'll get some pictures of Chico for you soon.

Along with tweeking, there was digging. I was trying to find the valve to connect to the water main. It was 6' down. "At least you know it will never freeze" said the plumber.

The tweekening. Today the reast of the furring strips were put in. The top spreaders were also installed. Installing them went a long way in getting the formwork where we want it.

The home milled wood we bought, though surdy and redolent, isn't totally super 'bang on' straight. This is a pity, and a pain.

There was more of this action. Hey, what are those things anyway, and why does the sky "white out" after an afternoon of spraying? I'm just asking...

Tomorrow should be the last day of tweeking inshallah. Then we install the vertical rebar and begin to brace ourselves for the pour.
