First it was 9:00 am then it was 6:30 pm. Say huh? Was it the din or the fumes? There certainly was plenty of both non stop all day. Jim on the bob cat moved 7 truck loads (84 yards, 201,600 lbs) of material into the form. You can see the pile on the left.



Filling the box and smoothing it out is (barely) reminiscent of Japanese sand gardens.


The new plate tamper drank a lot of gas (not diesel) but worked all day. The contrition was appreciated.
