We don't do winter

If you're here for the rammed earth check June and July of 2006.

We've been busy taking book and web design classes so that we may begin to "monetize" our knowledge and experience.

The plan is to merge the two rammed earth blogs into one easy-to-search rammed earth website.

Here's some stucco photos.

It must be obvious to our readers by now that we're not really at our best from Samhain to Imbolc, but winter's back has been broken so it's back to business.

We knew they'd come back eventually...

....and they did for a time.

Then they disappeared again.

They'll be back,

we have their mixer.

Everything's Turning Red

Will Don and Jorge return on the 22nd? the 29th? the 5th?

We kind of like the black look. Very leather jacket with studs.

Tomorrow Monsieur rents a bobcat.

Wrap It Up, I'll Take It!

I'd just like to point out that it's Canadian Thanksgiving

and there are tradesmen working on our house.

Did we enter an alternate dimension?

some kind of parallel reality?

They'll be done tomorrow, fer sure eh? When will they return to start slapping stucco? Stay tuned!

will it happen? could it be?

We finally got the soffits installed on the east side of the second floor. Finally.

I've been told to expect paper and wire on the OSB by Monday, stucco proper to begin in two weeks. You're looking at about $70 day in scaffold rental right there so it's in someone's interest to be timely.

It continues to be more beautiful here than where ever you might be.....

....except for the spots the kidz keep lighting on FIRE! This always seems to happen on those rare occasions when we leave town, our neighbours have noted.
